Greenbelt Seminar – calling all gardeners! The Higgins Lake Foundation in partnership with Huron Pines will host a Greenbelt Seminar at the R.A. MacMullan Center, June 26, 10am. Emily Vogelgesang, Environmental Educator with Huron Pines will present the program. Native plants on your shoreline help prevent erosion, limit nutrient run-off into the lake and improve and protect water quality. Beautiful and easy to care for, native plants will thrive in any garden. No worries about where to find native plants – the Otsego Conservation office will host a native plant sale right after the program. Seats are limited. To confirm a reservation, call the Higgins Lake Foundation 989 275-9183. The seminar is free.
